Went in because my right side hearing aid was no longer functioning. Suspected wax filter…which to be honest, until looking it up I did not know they had. Went in without appointment, they checked it out, confirmed it was the filter, changed the one I was having trouble with, confirmed it now worked and sold me more filters and three desiccant blocks for my night time dryer. Total cost- $12.00. That is a win any day.

I am writing this review at the request of my 85 yr old Aunt. At least a decade ago, she went to another place to look into hearing aids. Short version, it was not a pleasant experience for her. So much so that she went for several years without any hearing aids at all. I went with her once, I concur that the staff that day probably should not work in a field with elderly people. I finally convinced her to go to the Defiance Hearing Aid Center. I knew she would be in good hands with whoever she saw, but it still took some convincing. I then even took her myself when I came home to make her go through with the appointment. Rob went above and beyond with his time to make sure she was comfortable and understood everything. The entire staff is extremely patient and kind with their customers. There is no pressure or agenda for them to try to upsell or push any products on you that you don’t need, and I cannot recommend them enough. I think I was most happy when she told me she had an issue with of the hearing aids so she immediately called to make an appointment and go fix it! Of course it was fixed, and she’s been wearing them now for the past eight months and wow, what a difference! So on behalf of Jill… (and all of us who converse with her) THANK YOU! 🙂

I cannot find words to describe the way I felt as I left the Bowling Green restaurant directly after Dr. John fitted me with hearing aids. ( Maybe like the awakening awe I felt at the eclipse.when the birds and all of nature came to life again.) As we stepped out that restaurant door, I heard the wind, the zooming traffic and the sidewalk conversations and clicking heels of passerbys. There were chattering insects and birds and the wind! And I felt reborn!! My friend complained about the loud traffic and I replied that I loved even that! I had missed all of the above and hadn’t even realised how void and sterile my life had become as my hearing declined. Thank you so much to the Bowlingreen Green Hearing Clinic doc and staff, for the affordable comfortable product,very competent discerning testing as well as.the teaching, tact and patience of Doctor John as he preserved my 88»yr. old pride as he taught me how to wear the hearing aids (wvery easy!) Strongly recommend you consult them first. Great maintenance, great product, great doctor and staff! Overall rating 10+ out of 10!
